British TV Movie drama/documentary detailing the birth of Poland's Solidarity union

A short film about Afro Samurai

Petesy feels trapped in his dead-end job until smart-talking Gabriel arrives and offers him a way out.

Solidarity follows pioneering New Zealand rappers Upper Hutt Posse after they're invited to the United States by the Nation of Islam. They perform signature song 'E Tū' — about Māori resistance against oppression — and take their message of justice to Detroit community station WDTR. In New York, UHP are interviewed by veteran DJ Imhotep Gary Bryd. Later they meet Abiodun Oyewole, from rap pioneers The Last Poets. This is a street level view of urban artists spreading a message of Indigenous and Black unity, and social justice. Solidarity was directed by Rongotai Lomas and UHP lead vocalist Dean Hapeta.

Set in 1982 communist Poland, a couple celebrates their wedding anniversary with their closest friends. But a simple accident creates an unexpected and terrifying turn of events, and in a matter of minutes, life long relationships are destroyed.

In a futuristic Japan where conflicts are settled by the sword, Afro Samurai must avenge his father's murder by challenging a powerful warrior.

Hiroshi Tanaka sports an intense perm which looks like the afro hairstyle favored by some African-Americans back in the 1970's. He doesn't get his hair done at a hair shop, he was actually born with his hair like that. For freedom, Hiroshi moves to Tokyo. He works hard there and, even though he turns 24, he still doesn't have a girlfriend.

This homage to martial arts legend Jim Kelly is based on a hugely successful YouTube video. Reggie's got a dead end job, a cruel boss, and no real prospects. Until he uncovers a pair of magic nun-chucks that gives him karate superpowers and set Reggie up for a battle with the evil Kung Fu Master.

A newly married couple purchase a mansion in the countryside to open a bed and breakfast. However, it is soon revealed that some brutal murders took place previously on the property and someone or something might be lurking in the basement.
